April 19, 2013 marks the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. Together with the Polish Institute in Budapest the Holocaust Memorial Center organizes a round table under the title "A moment of freedom" to commemorate the uprising. The aim of the discussion is to show various aspects of these events - the crisis of identity, the ways of exploring Holocaust in contemporary art, the different social mechanisms behind it, the sociological and psychological aspects and also the effects of the uprising.

Máté Zombory (PhD), sociologist, Centre for Social Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
