Artur Pałyga: A Jew


The play of the Polish playwright Artur Pałyga will be read out by the Nézőművészeti Kft. as part of the Gólem Festival. The reading will be followed by a discussion with the author.

This year's Gólem Festival is already the third in Golem Theatre - the only Jewish theatre of Hungary. The main focus of this edition is Jews and Jewish characters on modern stages. Theatre plays, reading theatres, lectures and workshops may all be found  in the 4 day's program. All events will take place in English or with English subtitles. Writers, actors, dancers and university teachers came from Poland, Romania, France and from all over in Hungary to take part in this unique experience.

Each day of the festival ends with a talk about a chosen topic - on Thursday, April 11, the reading of the play "A Jew" by Nézőművészeti Kft. will be followed by a discussion with the author, Artur Pałyga.
