In connection with the presidency handover, a round table discussion on what it means the official language status of the European Union, what kinds of influences are exercised by the EU context to both languages and which are the most interesting professional issues in the field of translation, interpretation and terminology.

Prof. Adam Pawłowski, Polish and EU language policy expert of the University of Wrocław

Katalin Vittay-Fedinecz, coordinator of the Hungarian presidency at the Directorate-General for Interpretation (DG SCIC) of the European Commission

Paweł Czernecki, quality management officer of DG SCIC.
The language of the event is Polish and Hungarian, conference interpreting is provided.
The round table event is followed by the dance performance of Gabriella Máthé, titled Víz (Water).
