Exhibition by students of the Interdisciplinary Studio of the Department of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow

This exhibition is a presentation of student`s works from The Interdisciplinary Workshop at The Faculty of Painting at The Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (objects, photographs, video). The workshop was established this academic year. It`s major goal is to create the opportunity to work and develop student`s artistic interests particulary focused on the activities concering interdisciplinary field which explores variety of methods and techniques of expresion. Futhermore the workshop mission is to involve in it`s activities wide range of humanistic disciplines such as socjology, antropology, etnology, economics and others. The title of the exhibition „The grey zone” indicates the tendency to independent studies apart from the official academic program. The exhibited works present also the growing interest in so-called grey zones of human activities between legal and illegal, official and unofficial, exposed and hidden.

The exhibition was prepared by two students of Art History: Karolina Nowak, Magdalena Szedzielarz and students of Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow: Carlos Echeverria –Kossak, Anna Paszkowska, Zofia Wollny.
