Artur Dutkiewicz

Artur Dutkiewicz – piano
Michał Barański – doublebass
Łukasz Żyta – drums

Artur Dutkiewicz Trio style combines classic jazz with the sound of modern jazz trio. Strong expression alternating with moody, almost contemplative moments in the solo cadenzas. The concert program includes leader's own compositions and pieces from the "Hendrix Piano" album. These are jazz improvisations on well-known pieces of Jimi Hendrix.  Such hits as Hey Joe, Crosstown Traffic, Angel, Manic Depression, Little Wing are an excuse to improvise by using the language of jazz. This is the first ever album featuring songs of Jimi Hendrix on piano jazz trio.

Maciej Fortuna – trumpet
Piotr Lemańczyk – bass
Krzysztof gradziuk – drums

Maciej Fortuna is one of the most dynamic and versatile Polish jazz musicians who has invited experienced musicians to the implementation of this project: one of the most eminent Polish double bassists - Piotr Lemańczyk and a brilliant, highly valued in Poland, drummer – Krzysztof Gradziuk. 8th January 2012 was the day of the premiere of Maciej Fortuna Trio’s album - „Solar Ring” which was their debut album. In December 2012 they released their second album – concert release of “Sahjia”, documenting the development of the band during the two years of their operation. The Trio’s music also involves new and uncommon sounds of the acoustic trumpet which combined with the virtuosity of the band members create an absolutely incredible load of musical energy.
