JHP ART-ERRORIST (D) & ZSOLT SŐRÉS AHAD (H) Duo + THEME (GB/PL) with Guests

Duo concert by JHP Art-Errorist (1949, Casablanca), the founder of the legendary german krautrock band Faust (since 1971) and the radical Hungarian impro-noise musician, Zsolt Sőrés Ahad (1969, Budapest). "There is no group more mythical than Faust," wrote Julian Cope in his book "Krautrocksampler", which detailed the pivotal influence the German band exerted over the development of ambient, art rock, experimental, noise, psychedelic and industrial music textures. Faust and Jean-Hervé Péron's music continues to highly inspire and confound listeners and artists to this day.

And: the audiovisual concert of the extraordinary English-Polish experimental industrial music group, Theme (Richard Johnson, Stuart Carter, Olga Drenda, Ania Werner) with guest artists (Zsolt Varga and Ahad).

Found sounds, psychedelia and improvised sections will meet with Eastern music, metronomic rhythms borne partly of a fascination with states of mesmerism, electro-acoustic techniques, musique concrete, layered drones, rock music’s interstellar drive, electronics old and new, voices, metal percussion and the straitjacketed idea of the ‘song’ in its traditional setting.
