The main topic of our January exhibition is the depiction of animals: a topic which has been important from the beginning of visual depiction. In most cases, their shaping symbolises something, mostly in connection with the world of instincts, for example: strength, savagery, wiliness, wackiness, desperation, etc.
It is not unintentional that usually sport clubs are symbolized by animals, or they have mascots.
In our exhibition the artworks are made with different techniques, ranging from statues to video works. In the artworks one can discover what keeps moving not just the animals, but also us, human beings: the instinct.

The exhibition will be on show until the 9th of February in Latarka Gallery.
